My Workshop Experience at GFF25
A bunch of people made me comfortable in that space in front of a large audience
That’s exactly how I felt standing in front of 80+ incredible individuals, helping them craft systems to elevate their freelancing journeys.

To everyone who showed up, engaged, and supported me throughout the session—thank you!
Sathyama solren, you guys brought the energy, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🙌
Kudus to two of the communities I am part of — Think Digital & DNA
From Think Digital, we had Adesh, Hemnath, Bharathwaj, Midhun, Raswanth & Anu joining us to support.
From DNA, we had Deepak Kumar, Epaphra, Agnel John, Shashank, Hari Kumar, Meenakshi
I always believe in the power of true communities. But, this time I witnessed it live. A simple poster to explain how it was like…

In my life, I never had such a feeling—that support from a bunch of people looking forward to making me comfortable in that space in front of a large audience. Wow. There are no words to express this.
I just felt like, they were there for me. Thank you, Deepan Anna, the DNA Community & Think Digital Community boys & girls.
After doing the workshop, I now have the confident that there’s a group of people who will back me up, when I’m down.
Behind the scenes, it took 15 mins to come up with the concept, and I spent like 4 hours preparing the slides using Canva.
Munnadi la, I used to go without slides or any major preparation. But, later on purinjukiten, how much important is to prepare, even for a casual speech in front of new audience. Not mandatory, but kandippa brings in a lot of difference.
If you attended the workshop, then I’d love to get your thoughts of how I made you feel during and after the workshop. Some of you joined our community after the workshop, and that felt so good.
Remember the Framework We Discussed?
MTC Framework! And guess who coined it? ;)
Ngayabagam irundha, comment pannunga paapom! If you get it right, I’ll share my slide deck with you for reference.
What Did We Cover in the Workshop?
This wasn’t your typical “freelancing advice” session. It was about providing clarity and actionable systems—tools you can rely on, not just motivational talk that fades away.
Here’s what we explored together:
1️⃣ Awareness: Understanding Your Freelancing Journey
We asked the big questions:
What are you currently doing in freelancing?
Why are you freelancing—what’s your purpose?
How can you make your freelancing work more productive, intentional, and scalable?
2️⃣ Building Systems
We took actionable steps to create systems for:
Managing projects and clients seamlessly.
Tracking time and income effectively.
Automating repetitive tasks to save energy and time.
(College students, if freelancing feels far away, think of these systems as tools for organizing your college journey. It’s all connected!)
3️⃣ Visualizing Your Freelance Journey
We worked on mapping goals, challenges, and resources, giving you a bird’s-eye view of your freelancing career.
40 Minutes Felt Too Short!
Honestly, 40 minutes was just scratching the surface. There’s so much more to dive into! After connecting with many of you post-session, I realized there’s a strong need to:
Build customized systems for individual productivity.
Provide step-by-step guidance, especially for new freelancers.
What do you think? Should we take this conversation further and build something together? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
The Highlight of the Day? YOU!
Your energy and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. Standing on that stage with 80+ passionate participants cheering me on kept me buzzing with excitement till the very end.
A Big Thank You!
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jaya Shakthi Kannan Anna and the entire Chennai Freelancers Club team for giving me this incredible opportunity. Delivering a session on something so close to my heart—helping others build systems for growth—was an absolute honor.
Looking forward to creating even more impactful sessions with all of you.
If you’re looking forward to invite me to conduct an actionable workshop in your college, do let me know. I’m fully in, to work with you for this.
Cheers,gsthina
