Vanakkam Boys & girls,
It feels very personal, writing to you after a loooooooong time.
Oru maasam aagiruchu, laโฆ
Unmai ya sollanum na, in my whole career history, office work ku ivlo effort potadhu indha last one month la thaan.

Appram I had a couple of feedbacks from my previous letter โย

Correct thaan. Some people tend to take quick actions and might miss coming back for the second half. Another one wasโฆ

Hehe. Oru news letter ku evlo neram thaan spend pannuveenga? Most ah zone out aagirrom laโฆ So, keeping this letter a bit short.
Yen na, feedback thaana namakku ellameโฆ

Seri, matterukku varuvom!!
How many times have you stopped yourself from talking about your skills just because you feel you're not โgood enoughโ yet?
News flash: Nobody is perfect. And nobody expects you to be.
The key? Own your skills. Talk about what youโve done, what excites you, and how you solve problemsโeven if youโre still learning.
Hereโs how to start (as usual, advice illa โย pure relatables and actionables, at least for most of you, hehe)
Simple ah solanum naโฆ Stop waiting to feel "ready" ๐

You learn while doing mattum thaan.
Oru Kutty storyโฆ
When I was in 3rd year, I started learning Ionic & Angular (to develop mobile & web apps) through their official documentation. The more I read, the more I feared - โenna da idhu, ivlo irukka? When am I going to start building my first appโ nu.
But, there is always a section - โBuild your First Ionic/Angular Appโ. I simply went there and started. There was a prerequisite of installing a couple of packages before starting.
Nalla mutti modhi, I took 2 days to complete it. I didnโt just install the necessary packages; but also understood what exactly was โnpmโ and how they fancily print stuff and fetch inputs via CLI (athaan, namma command line or terminal window is also called as CLI - Command Line Interface).

Then, I just copied and pasted the commands step by step, and finally, I had a boiler plate version of my app.
Appram enna, idhukku mela building on top of what I had. I took a scenario of Money Manager, and named it as โTransfer Walletโ โ publish la pannanum nu yosikala, but it did the basics in my local system.
Leter, kutty kutty projects pannittu, group ah sendhu SRM Connect nu oru Events App pannom, and then appdiye Freelance kooda pannen with what I knew.
Every time I hit a blocker, I google โHow to โฆ.โ avlothaan. Itโs going to be simple to figure out.
Adhuvum, ippo in this AI era, tools like Perplexity are going to spill you the best resources along with straightforward answers, whenever you are stuck.
Seri, en kadhai ah vidungaโฆ unga kadhai ku varuvom!!
Here are 3 ways in which you can show your confidence despite knowing lessโฆ
โ Talk about the projects youโve worked on.
You built a basic website? Nice! Donโt downplay it with, "Oh, itโs nothing big." Instead, share the process โ
๐ What did you build?๐ What challenges did you face?๐ How did you overcome them?
Even if itโs a simple college assignment, explain it like itโs a case study. "We had to build a to-do list app, but I made mine sync across devices!" Thatโs how you show ownership.
โ Share your learning process.
Me taking 2 days to install a couple of packages eh oru example thaan.
Even if you are figuring out graphic designโฆ
Write about it. โTried Canva today. My first design looks like a disaster, but hereโs what I learned about color contrast!โ ๐จ
When you share (document), you attract like-minded people.
Maybe your random LinkedIn post about debugging code?
Someone might DM you saying, โBro, I faced the same issue!โ - avlothaan!! Network gets building there without even trying.
โ Show how you solve problems.
Whether itโs coding, content creation, or even negotiating with your hostel warden for better WiFi (relatable? ๐), document the journey.
Simple! Got stuck on something? Share how you fixed it.
โIdhellam ah bro, panradhu?โ nu kekkama, poiye panni paarunga! Thatโs where you start.
You know what? People donโt follow โexpertsโ. Unmailaye, no one likes โexpertsโ. Peope love to meet, speak and connect with people who figure things out as they go. Be that person.
Because, by becoming an expert โย you just limit your boundaries. Seriously!!
Yaaru sonna nu theriyalโฆ but a quote for youโฆ
You won't believe me, but Confidence beats Preparation!
Letโs be honest โ The best candidates arenโt always the most prepared. Theyโre the ones who walk in with self-assurance.
๐ฌ "Pakka va prepare pannen bro, aana sodhappiten" โ I've heard this many times.
๐ฌ "Perusa answer pannala bro, but oru nalla feel irukku kidaichirum nu" โ I've heard this also many times.
Think about it: 2 students apply for the same internship, seriya โ
โ One has perfect answers but doubts themselves.
โ The other knows theyโll figure things out, even if they donโt have all the answers.
Who do you think will be selected?
Of course, the one who radiates confidence ๐ฅ
Because, the first one - "enakku full ah theriyaadhe" nu Ellam therinja thaan oru new project accept pannuvaan.
The second one - "edu paathukkalaam" nu oru 50% therinja kooda, project eduthutu figure out pannikkuvaan!
๐ Thatโs why I say your journey toward becoming a self-governing individual starts in college.

In the real world, it's not about being the most prepared.
It's about believing in yourself enough to step up. ๐
Now, enough of wisdom. Itโs time to act up on it.
๐งโโ๏ธ Hereโs Your Task
Think of one skill or experience you hesitate to talk about.
๐ฅ Share it today on LinkedIn, tag a friend and break your barrier now!
Hit reply & tell me what you're sharing today โ Iโd love to see it. Tag me also if you think so, hehe.
